The Long Trip Up Here….
Sadly, the summer is over. It was a really long summer which consists of all of May, June, July and August. I really love the summer. It’s such a free feeling. Unfortunately… The last few days of summer came really fast for me. I did so much and made so many memories this summer, that I can’t really remember it all. But this blog isn’t about the summer.
All summer… I was dreading going to school at UMaine, but I was really excited. It really is hard to leave everything that you have in a familiar place.
I left on thursday the 27th. I did not cry leaving the house.
It was a fun drive! I drove and then mom did. We listened to music all the way there. Do not drive on the bronx expressway. It’s super scary. People speed and jump in front of you… it’s madness.
We drove until 3:30 in the morning. Then spent the night in the car at a rest area. Super sketch people go to rest areas. This one guy was moving all these black trash bags around his car. He might have been a serial killer. haha. It would be my luck. I did not sleep well at all.
We were in Maine… and I started crying. Im not sure why. I think I was a bit sad and plus I was really really tired which makes me overly emotional.
Such a long drive. whooo.
